2019 Live4It Kickoff
In early 2019, a coalition of health care entities, local employers, and community organizations came together to launch a fresh approach to health and wellness—one designed to improve health and lifespan by connecting both hearts and minds: Live⁴It!
Today, Live⁴It encourages you to discover what matters most to you—your personal “It”—and equips you with the tools, guidance, and resources to achieve your health and wellness goals. The mission is simple: to help you live a longer, healthier, and happier life.
At its core, Live⁴It promotes four key concepts, represented in the word L-I-V-E:
- Lifestyle & Environment
- Invest in One Another
- Value Preventive Health
- Eat, Drink & Be Merry
Live⁴It is more than a program—it’s a community-wide movement. By uniting individuals, employers, health care providers, and civic organizations under one message—How to Live⁴It!—the initiative seeks to cut through the noise, inspire positive change, and improve not only individual lives but also the overall lifespan of our community.

2025 Bill Gregory Health Care Classic Highlight Video
Live⁴It Community proudly hosted the 42nd Anniversary of the Bill Gregory Health Care Classic on April 26, 2025.
The Bill Gregory Health Care Classic (BGHCC) is more than just a race—it’s a celebration of our community’s commitment to healthy living. First launched in 1981 by Hamilton Medical Center, the event has become a cornerstone of Dalton and one of the community’s most anticipated annual gatherings.
The Classic now also serves as a tribute to Dr. Bill Gregory, who tragically lost his life in a bicycling accident in June 2006. Dr. Gregory was deeply devoted to his patients and passionate about promoting wellness and healthier lifestyles.
Over four decades, the Bill Gregory Health Care Classic has grown into a beloved tradition, carrying forward the vision of Hamilton Medical Center and honoring Dr. Gregory’s legacy. Today, it continues to symbolize our shared commitment to building healthier lifestyles and environments—together, through collaboration and positive action.
