The Bill Gregory Health Care Classic (BGHCC) is more than just a race, it is a symbol of our community’s commitment to promoting healthy lifestyle changes. Since its inception in 1981 by Hamilton Medical Center, this event has become a cornerstone of our community and one of the most highly anticipated gatherings. Today, the annual event honors Dr. Bill Gregory, who tragically lost his life in a bicycling accident in June 2006. Dr. Gregory was passionate about caring for his patients and promoting wellness and healthy lifestyles. Over the years, the Bill Gregory Health Care Classic has evolved into a beloved tradition, continuing the important work Hamilton Medical Center and Dr. Gregory began so many years ago. Today, this annual event remains a symbol of our shared commitment to fostering healthy lifestyle and environment changes through collaboration and positive action.

INVEST IN ONE ANOTHER (2026 THEME)
Each year, Live⁴It Community introduces a new health and wellness theme, launching it at the Bill Gregory Health Care Classic. In 2026, our focus is on the 2nd Key Concept, “Invest in One Another (family, friends, philanthropy).” This year’s theme highlights research on the meaningful connection with family, friends, and philanthropy. This message brings hope: we can impact our lifespan!

Together, we believe in the power of “one goal and one message” to help our community live longer, healthier, and happier lives. Each of us plays a vital role in our community’s journey to improve its health and wellness trajectory. We invite you to view the Live⁴It Kids website.

AWARDS
Awards will be given to top schools, employers, churches, medical practices, tent/food truck, individuals and more! 

This year’s Zest for Life Award will be given to the Sponsor, Vendor, Exhibitor, or group of individuals that demonstrate how they build strong bonds between family, friends, and communities.

• Volunteer: Our race is heavily dependent on volunteers, see Quick Links for Volunteer sign-up.
• Purchase: Food and merchandise will be available for purchase at the event.  Cash, credit cards and vouchers will be accepted.
• Sponsor: Your generosity enables us to uphold the Bill Gregory Health Care Classic tradition and support the health and wellness of our community. As a sponsor, you’re not only supporting the annual 10K/5K/2K race but also funding outreach and programs that spread the message of encouragement.
