The Bill Gregory Health Care Classic (BGHCC) is more than just a race, it is a symbol of our community’s commitment to promoting healthy lifestyle changes. Since its inception in 1981 by Hamilton Medical Center, this event has become a cornerstone of our community and one of the most highly anticipated gatherings. Today, the annual event honors Dr. Bill Gregory, who tragically lost his life in a bicycling accident in June 2006. Dr. Gregory was passionate about caring for his patients and promoting wellness and healthy lifestyles. Over the years, the Bill Gregory Health Care Classic has evolved into a beloved tradition, continuing the important work Hamilton Medical Center and Dr. Gregory began so many years ago. Today, this annual event remains a symbol of our shared commitment to fostering healthy lifestyle and environment changes through collaboration and positive action.

COST
- $25 during Early Bird registration
- $35 after Early Bird registration and on race day
BIB PICK UP
- Parking deck near the corner of Broadrick Dr. and Memorial Dr., Dalton, GA
- Day Before the Event, 12:00 – 6:30 pm
- Day of Event, prior to race
- Registration opens at 6:30 am. Must be registered 30 minutes prior to race, as applicable.

- T-shirts only guaranteed to Early Bird Registrations and can be picked up on race day.
- Additional merchandise and food will be available for purchase on race day. Cash and cards accepted.
PARKING

- 6.2 Miles – 90 Minutes*
- Age groups: 5-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and older
5K Start Time is at 8:30 am
- 3.1 Miles – 75 Minutes*
- Age groups: 5-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and older
2K Start Time is at 10:15 am
- 1.24 Miles – 45 Minutes*
- Age groups: Under 5, 5-9, 10-14, 15-19
RACE TIMING
Time Managed by Fast Race Services
*Official time ONLY granted to finishers within the time periods above.
All Awards will be based on gun time in accordance with USATF Rule #245.
